F&F's Question:
Have you broken up with a series? If so which one and why?

It was Septimus Heap series. But to say that I've broken with this series is not totally true because I just read the first book, Magyk, and found out that it was just an OK book, I'm not impressed. So, I decided to not to continue with the series. Moreover, this series got so many books like seven or eight, I don't know. So I just gave up on this series.

BBH's Question:
What is your favorite trilogy (series)?

I've read The Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Caster Chronicles, and a few other series and trilogies, however The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter remaine as my all time favorite trilogy and series. They're phenomenal and it's like you want to read them again and again.

I've only read book one in the Hunger Games trilogy. Hopefully, I'll have the time to read the other two before the new movie comes out.

I WOULD have answered LOTR if I'd remembered that it was actually a trilogy! I have Maze Runner sitting on my bookshelf as my next read-together with my son!

LOTR is high on my list too. We read it aloud though, family read-along- and it's a tough series to read aloud. It takes a long time. We did Harry Potter too, and even though it was also long, it moved faster. Both were enjoyable though!

I've heard of the Septimus series, and would like to read it myself. Hmmm...I wonder if I'll like it at all, given your opinion.

I LOVE The Lord of the Rings!!! It's my favorite trilogy!! As for the Harry Potter series, I LOVE it, as well!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Happy Reading!! :)

I hate giving up on books, but I have to admit I do it fairly regularly. Which is a bummer. But it's definitely no fun when they don't live up to your expectations! http://abbiereadsbooks.blogspot.com
