Mine by Taylor Swift

|
Song: Mine (Single)
Singer: Taylor Swift
Album/Year: Speak Now (2010)
Composer: Taylor Swift
Genre: Country Pop
CoffeeNCrackers' Meter: 5 Cups of Coffee

Do you remember, we were sittin' there, by the water?
You put your arm around me for the fist time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

Do you remember all the city lights on the water?
You saw me start to believe for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine.....

She got a nice voice, can sing very well, can play instruments and this song she composed herself. What a talented singer she is? I loved Mine so much, the lyric is simple and sweet and the melody is just superb and catchy. And of course you'll never be bored listening to her songs over and over again. Mine is the first single from Swift's third album, Speak Now, which will be released on October 25, 2010 via Big Machine Records. She wrote the song herself and co-produced it with Nathan Chapman, the producer of her first two studio albums. Unlike with her past two albums, Swift wrote all of its material by herself. Awesome!! Here's Mine 's music video.Enjoy!!

Mine's Official Music Video

What more?!! Just look at this, the cover album for Speak Now. She looks stunning in that purple dress. Way to go Taylor Swift!!! There will be 14 tracks in Speak Now including Mine. I bet the others will be great also. There is a song with title "Dear John" and it sounds familiar to me. Yeah! It's same title with Spark's novel, Dear John.

The Movie: The Last Song

|
Title/Year: The Last Song (2010)
Director: Julie Anne Robinson
Writers: Jeff Van Wie (Screenplay), Nicholas Sparks (Screenplay and Novel)
Genre: Family, Romance
Cast: Miley Cyrus (Ronnie Miller), Greg Kinnear (Steve Miller), Bobby Coleman (Jonah Miller), Liam Hemsworth (Will Blakelee)
CoffeeNCrackers' Meter: 2 cups of Coffee

.: Plot :.
Seventeen-year-old Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Tybee Island, Georgia. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father ...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer on Tybee Island with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms - first love, the love between parents and children - that demonstrates the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts ...and heal them.

.: My Comment :.
A typical Nicholas Sparks's. Nothing new and nothing special about this movie. But, I have to admit that it does have some family values to be learn. The scene where Jonah desperately wants to finish up his father's work, while his father is hospitalized due to cancer really touches me. He also have a good relationship with his sister Ronnie and they are very close to each other. He's good. Credit to that boy! As for Miley, I seriously think that she doesn't suit to be Ronnie. lacks of emotion and her acting seems so wrong. Maybe the character is not for Miley as she is more suitable to be a happy go lucky girl! I knew that Miley wants to try a variation of characters (Since she quits Hannah Montana), but this is an honest advice from me to her, "Miley, just stick with your Hannah Montana self, 'cause I love you more with that kind of character.". You got it Ms. Cyrus? Owh...one more thing, did she really knows how to play piano? Another good side, this movie also brings the message from WWF (or so I thought). Lets save our Turtle! =b

.: The Last Song's OST :.

The soundtrack is great. Miley did a really good job, and her singing is fabulous. When I Look at you is one of my favorites right at the moment. Unlike the movie, this song manages to get 4 stars rating from me. Well done!

September by Daughtry

Song: September
Singer: Daughtry
Album/Year: Leave This Town (2009)
Composers: Josh Steely, Chris Daughtry
Genre: Rock
CoffeeNCrackers' Meter: 5 Cups of Coffee

Of all the thing I still remember
Summers never look the same
The years go by and time just seems to fly
But the memories remain

In the middle of September we'd still play out in the rain
Nothing to lose but everything to gain
Reflecting now on how things could've been
It was worth it in the end...............

Well, August is approaching the end and September will come with a bright smile. All Daughtry's songs are my favourite. September is a really nice songs and it makes me feel alive. The lyrics is beautiful and fantastic. Nicely composed song which I think one of the best among Daughtry's songs. Well guys! lets enjoy the music video of September and try to digest the meaning behind the beautiful lyrics. Have a nice day!

Howdy guys! I'm pretty tired rite know. Tired of assignments, lab reports, and tired of my valley practice. The match is just around the corner!! Yeah! OK...i don't want to strain myself anymore ! Just wanna share with all of you, two songs that can make myself relax a bit! Haha! It's OK to write bout something other than books sometimes rite? So...here are the songs!

All the Right Moves by One Republic
Writer: Tedder
Lenght: 3:58

I'm listening to this song for quite sometimes now. I still remember last year that I was addicted with One Republic's Apologize song and this All the Right Moves is utterly fantastic. the music is brilliantly composed and the lyric is very catchy, nicely written, and have a really deep meaning. All the Right Moves is the first single from the latest album of One Republic titled Waking Up which is published on November 17, 2009. Here's the lyric's snippet!

Do you think I'm special? Do you think I'm nice?
Am I bright enough to shine in your spaces?
Between the noise you hear and the sound you like
Are we just sinking in the ocean of faces?

It can't be possible, the rain can fall
Only when it's over right here
The sun is shining everyday but it's far away
Over the world they say, they got, they got

Fireflies by Owl City
Writer: Adam Young
Length: 3:54

I accidently downloaded this song last month, and the first time I listened to this song I just simply fell in love with Fireflies. At first, I wonder, who the hell is this Owl City? But then I know, it's not a who but it's a what. Owl City is synthpop musical project by Adam Young, who started making music in his parents basement and then following through his MySpace profile before he's being assigned by Universal Republic. And Fireflies is the no. 1 hit from his second album Ocean Eyes released in 2009. With the soothing and easy listening voice, music composition and arrangement with the touch of electronica influenced beats as well as the beautiful lyrics this song is horribly awesome!! Here's the lyric snippet!!

To ten millions fireflies
I'm weird 'cause I hate goodbyes
I got misty eyes as they said farewell

But I'll know where several are
If my dreams get real bizarre
'Cause I saved a few and keep them in a jar
I'd like to make myself believe

That planet Earth turns slowly
It's hard to stay awake when I'm asleep
'Cause everything is never as it seems
When I fall asleep

Awesome!! Isn't it?? If u don't trust me...go and download the songs and listen 'em yourself. then, u'll have to abediently agree with me!! Hahaha!! Now listening to Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble and Replay by I.Y.A.Z, nice!! =) Ciao...
